It was far beyond my expectations of how great these guys are. I had been looking around for quite a bit, and my friend highly recommended that I use Hanley Moving Company for my move from Schenectady to Florida. The movers arrived on time and were equipped with everything needed for the job. The staff in Schenectady were great. Pat and Karen handled everything as you would expect. The driver and the packing crew were disappointing. I know it is my job to check that everything is packed, but medicine cabinets were not touched. Small amount of stuff, but they were prescriptions that made things more difficult than needed. Upon arrival, everything arrived intact but a single box. It’s been a month with no resolution. The rating would be a 5 for Schenectady team and a 3 for the driver/packers.

Hanley Moving is a reliable partner when it comes to moving from the Southwest to the East. Everything went smoothly. Our truck driver Mike delivered a very professional service for us at both places - pick up and drop off storage. I cannot be more pleased! Thank you! On the other hand, our car spent a week in a GA storage facility before they decided to deliver it to Albany. I had to call them 6 times and go back to a Hanley Moving person in order to get their business to move. Completely disappointed with the auto delivery service! They blamed each other for not doing their job!

This was my first time using this service and everything was fantastic!!! The gentleman that were helping us move were absolutely fantastic and hard working. Joe, Dave, and Mike did a fantastic job. They were extremely careful with our belongings, very polite and very friendly. They hauled off bulky trash I couldn't fit in my bins and styrofoam. Kind, capable guys with great communication. They said they donate everything that they're able to before sending it to the landfill. Highly recommend!

I booked the company for same-day Junk removal in downtown Albany. Joe and Dave were great, super helpful and fast. Overall great experience — one word of warning is that while the company does its best to be same-day, unless you’re the first one on the docket, expect some delays. My original estimated start time was 9-11am, but we got started around 12:30pm.

Mike & his partner were great. I texted them late last night after seeing their deal online to see if they had availability for the next day. They were indeed able to accommodate me, were on time and finished earlier than the 2hr mark. Mike went out of his way to find a quicker route than what I thought would be best so we were able to finish without going over. This was great customer service because anyone else could have went slower on purpose to extend the job. I’m really really appreciative of them.

I had to book a move just 4 days in advance and these guys were amazing! It was a really easy, professional process to receive a quote and book. Day of they were very communicative and transparent about time and price changes. They went above and beyond, even creating a makeshift TV box since I had forgotten to let them know I needed one.
